    • For undergraduate courses, a minimum TOEFL score of 80 is required
    • For post-graduate courses, a minimum of 90 is required
    • For undergraduate and post-graduate programs, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 to 7 is required

    The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is mandatory for all programs in the US. For certain programs, it is mandatory to have a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) and GRE test scores.

    WHEN AND HOW TO APPLY

    US universities accept applications all-round the year. Most programs of several universities accept new students at the start of the Fall (Aug-Sep), Spring (Jan-March), and very few offer Summer (May-June) semesters. However, it is better to apply as early as possible because the visa process might take up a considerable amount of your time. However, if you miss the deadline, your application will be put automatically for consideration for the next available start date.

    USA STUDY VISA REQUIREMENTS

    Mainly there are 3 different types of study visas issued by the USA for international students:

    • F1 Visa,
    • J1 Visa, and
    • M1 study Visa

    F-1 and M-1 study visas can be provided up to 120 days in advance of the students’ orientation day. However, international students will not be allowed to enter the country in F-1 or M-1 status earlier than 30 days before their orientation day.
